Well, we have an unfortunate incident to deal with this weekend...and tomorrow when Alex has to show up at school without his binder.
In the middle school here, they kids can only carry around a large zippered binder...for safety. Apparently they weren't responsible enough to use lockers or backpacks appropriately. On Friday, Alex hopped in the car when I picked him up from school, bag of football pads and clothing and big zippered binder in hand. However, after dropping Alex off for his Scout campout, we arrived at home with no binder.
On the way to the campout, we stopped at the convience store for Advil, but when we went back tonight to ask them if there was a binder, they told us, not only no, but if there had been, it would have been thrown away. Fun!
Hopefully any homework can be redone. Yikes!
