New Calling

It's official. I am now the Primary President of our little branch.

Two weeks ago, our Stake Missionaries, the Ferrells, were released, so they are back in their Odessa ward. We will really miss them. They have been with our Branch for almost 2 years; I have known them for 1 year. We all love their wonderful spirit and presence. Lynn was our YW president, so we all knew change was coming. The counselor in YW (yes, just one) is moving as soon as their house sells. Since they had no one, and Primary had a president and 2 counselors, it was bound to be broken up. All three of us have a daughter in YW, or about to be in, and also have children in Primary, so we were all anxious to see what would happen.

It will be wonderful. When you serve others, you can't help but feel your love for them grow. I have found this to be true in church, family, friends, school, and community. I am looking forward to the new challenge.
