Winter Blossoms

I love the Pecan trees in the winter. In addition to the bare branches, the sky is dotted with these...

All those little hulls eventually open and release the pecans. All those little clusters of the hulls eventually fall as well. But, in the cold months, it's kind of nice to see reminders of the fruits of the trees.

On the way to the neighborhood park, we pick a few up and have a snack at the park.  While playing at the park, we can just grab a few from the grass and munch. Fun, right?!
