Manic Monday: Formula

A formula is simple and clear method of expressing information, usually to come up with a desired outcome. Everywhere you look there is a "formula for" something.

Formula for Happiness
Formula for Misery
Formula for Life
Formula for Success
Formula for Failure

I can thank years of Allgebra for the math link in all of this. A formula is like a certain equation.
In my observances, all variables in a formula lead to a focus. If you are solving for "x", x is the focus and all other variable are manipulated to discover the "x". In a formula for happiness, happiness is the focus. All variable are manipulated to that goal, or end result. So, whether our focus is pro-active or passive, our variables will be manipulated to achieve the end result, every thought and action we make will be trying to "solve for x."
So, my Formula for happiness, love, and success is to keep the focus on the the proper "x". I can't solve for "y" and still figure out the "x". I'm hoping that my thoughts, actions, and words are being manipulated to achieve the happiness and success that I desire in my own life, for my family, and for the future. If I skip a step in the formula, I may cause some frustration for myself and have to go back and find out where I made an incorrect assumption, but it will all work out as long as the focus stays the same.
"Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end."
