Last night, my son posted this as his status update on Facebook:
"Luv procrastinating all my projects due tomorrow!!!!"
It was the end of their first 6 weeks of classes (their first final grading period) and all of his end of term projects were due, which he had been working on for the past few days, rather than the past couple weeks.I almost said something, but then, hey, I was writing a Primary Program, which is supposed to be presented in less than 5 weeks, which I deemed more important than moving furniture for Alex and Aimee's new dressers and beds, which came today. So, I closed my mouth and typed happily away.
This post is, itself, procrastination. I'm supposed to be writing the Primary Sacrament Program, (again) which I was supposed to write (by my own deadlines) a few weeks ago. I did sort out which songs I wanted to use and which order. Another big decision is that since our Primary is only 5 children large, I chose to have each of them speak just once, for a longer time. I'm totally loving it, but I'm starting to feel a bit of a writer's block on a couple of the topics. Maybe that means that I need to change those two up a bit. But right now, it means break time. I just want to get the parts (especially since. they are longer) to the children BEFORE conference Sunday, so they have LOTS of time to practice. I have visited with each of them, and they seem excited for their parts to come!
I don't ALWAYS procrastinate. Sometimes I'm very organized and prompt in my checks on my list. I actually love to see those things get crossed off and feeling the sense of accomplishment.
Some things just have better timing than others.

Gotta love Primary Children's program. At least yours isn't being held on Halloween Sunday!!!
Actually, it is. :) We just have such a fewer number, that I didn't want to start overkill on practices.
Procrastination happens to the best of us...and church items are so easy to let slide. Good luck with that program. My big project currently is the ward Halloween carnival (a fundraiser for the young women girls camp).
The program is written, parts are delivered. We will practice on Sunday and see if my new vision is going to work.
Brecca, the Halloween party will be so fun. You will rock it! Good Luck
