Growing up, I honestly didn't know there was such a huge following for NFL. I mean, I did know that it was "famous", but I had no idea that kids watched it...or even wanted to. When I was in 7th grade (i know, talk about sheltered) we had a substitute in a class who didn't know what we were supposed to be doing. So, instead, she gave us a "match the NFL team to the mascot" paper to do for "fun".
LOL...being the dork that I was, I was a little panicked, thinking I would be graded on it. LOL!!!! Also, I felt like I was cheating by getting the 'answers' from my peers. I had no idea that many people KNEW all the NFL stuff. It was just not part of my life.
